The mission of Duplin County Schools is to work collaboratively with the community to prepare all students for their future career, college and life success. As technology continues to advance, technological devices have become key assets in classrooms all over the world. A knowledge of technology has shown to be very important for a successful career later in life.
Rose Hill-Magnolia Elementary School educates students in kindergarten through eighth grade. Faculty and staff have been working diligently to implement more technology into the school day. Currently, students utilize Chromebooks to supplement the classroom teachings while also learning how to use technology. “By using Chromebooks, students will be better prepared to learn in the 21st century as they advance through school,” said teacher LeAnn Horne.
In partnership with WoodmenLife North Carolina Chapter 974, Rose Hill-Magnolia hopes to raise $5,995 through WoodmenLife ImpactSM to purchase Chromebooks for students. Your fee-free donation will help students become better digital learners while allowing them to discover and develop their potential.
