The goal of the Milton Police Department in West Virginia is to serve the community with pride, professionalism, and integrity. One of the supports they have in this work is their K9 unit. The K9 unit is one way they tackle the ongoing drug trafficking in their community along their portion of the I-64 corridor. This past summer the K9 unit lost one of its members – Joe – and they would like to get a new K9.
The $1,000 they hope to raise will go towards a new dog and the accompanying accessories and necessities of a working K9. These necessities include kennels, leashes, vests, etc. The new K9 will be on day shift duty. In addition to its work with the Milton PD, the K9 unit also assists neighboring departments in Hurricane and Barboursville as well as the Cabel County Sheriff’s Department. Chief Joe Parsons of the Milton Police Department asks, "Can you assist us in replacing our departed K-9 Joe to combat the drug problems in our area." Donate Now!
