Safe Haven, a project of the Tishomingo County Community Coalition in Burnsville. Mississippi, provides safe housing for adults in transition. In 2020 they provided 1,349 nights of shelter to 46 different residents. They help residents find jobs, reconnect with family and church, attend recovery meetings, and eventually find housing.
"I don't have to come back to Safe Haven. I get to come back. This is not a program and this is not a facility. This is my safe haven, my refuge, and my home." Candida H. a resident at Safe Haven.
The $5,000 they hope to raise will go towards supplies for the program including food for the residents as well as blankets, comforters and pillows. Funds will also go toward doctor visits and prescriptions for the residents. Donate now to help provide safe housing and support for those in need!
