In Northeast Texas, the F.L.A.G. Program provides flag education programs in multiple school districts in three states (soon to be five states). They teach school age children in grades four and up how to properly raise, lower, and fold the American flag on their campuses. “The patriotic education of our students, the future of America, is of the utmost importance of the F.L.A.G. Program in our schools. Instilling pride, respect and dignity towards our American Flag and everything that it represents is incumbent upon or organization,” said Jim Rodriquez, Founder of the F.L.A.G. Program.
With the $5,000 they hope to raise they plan to create training films to help campus leaders and volunteers learn virtually how to start a flag program and flag club and videos on how to properly raise, lower and fold the flags.. As they prepare for the 2021/2022 school year, they want to be able to provide these education programs to more schools in more states and adding the video learning component will help them do that. Give now to help create virtual flag education programs.
