The Biscuit Foundation in Burlington, North Carolina was founded in 2008 to provide short and long term care for pets in the event of pet owners’ illness as well as provide placement services for those pets when pet owners have moved to a nursing facility or passed away.

“Our vision is that no companion pet shall be surrendered to an animal shelter and perhaps face possible euthanasia due to the fact that the owner became terminally ill, entered a nursing home or passed away. The Biscuit Foundation is committed to offering hope to pet owners when faced with making these life-changing decisions concerning the future of their beloved pet,” said Debbie Fuller, Founder.

With the $1,500 they hope to raise they can provide veterinary care, medications and supplies for pets in their care. All pets in their care receive heartworm and flea & tick prevention services in addition. They also provides blankets, beds, collars etc. for pets in their care.
